Uses: onthier chestnuts traditionally accompany meat and poultry dishes but they are equally appreciated as accompaniments to certain fish such as monkfish and sole. They are original additions to regional salads and are also used in pastries and desserts. To reheat, place the bag of chestnuts in a hot water bath for a few minutes or in the microwave after having pierced the bag.
